Paul tells us to "Edify" the church. This means to build each other up in our faith. There are many ways to do this but one of the ways is to share what God is teaching you in His Word.
If there are things that are standing out to you so far in your readings, take a moments and share them.

I love Genesis 18 where Abraham keeps asking God again and again if he would save the cities if there were 50 righteous people, 40, 30 and so on. I love the relationship between God and Abraham. How amazing to be the friend of God. I wish I could talk to God face to face. I have been listening to the Bible read aloud on my computer at night from

while I play bedazzled. It is a nice way to relax before bed. I hope I can keep it up. Sometimes I just feel to tired to read my bible at night but listening to it is peaceful. The reader has a nice English accent and you can pick any version you want. Anyways, comments, comments???? Katie, where are you???
Great feedback Lora....this interaction with God is called a Theofani (did not spell that correctly) and is a very important event. Some commentators believe that this is Christ...however, we are not sure. What we are sure is that God has said that no one will be able to see God and live, yet He allowed Abraham to do this...very cool.
